The Rock & John Cena defeated The Miz & R-Truth

A hallowed institution situated at the core of the Big Apple, Madison Square Garden has bore a dynasty of cherished WWE moments – Jimmy Snuka’s steel cage-top leap, the WWE Title bout that sparked Hulkamania in 1984, The Game’s exultant return from injury in 2002 and so many more. Add to that list the night “The Most Charismatic Tag Team of All Time” came to The Mecca of Sports-Entertainment to put aside their approaching WrestleMania XXVIII dream match and instead put boots to the asses of The “Awesome Truth.” Though John Cena wasn’t exactly safe from said footwear.

Never before, never again would The Rock and John Cena, arguably the biggest stars in the WWE Universe, stand aligned. But the single instance in which they did – collectively deconstructing The Miz & R-Truth at Survivor Series in The World’s Most Famous Arena – will be remembered by the WWE Universe forever. For a couple of weeks on Raw, John Cena seemed to have both The Miz and R-Truth in check all by himself . In fact, many members of the WWE Universe asked on Twitter if Cena even needed The Rock as his tag team partner against Awesome Truth at Survivor Series. Finally, The Rock has come back to Survivor Series!

Returning to the event where he made his WWE debut 15 years ago, The Great One will team with his WrestleMania XXVIII opponent John Cena to take on the devious pairing of The Miz & R-Truth in the same arena where The Brahma Bull had both his first and last match — Madison Square Garden.

Never before have the Cenation leader and The People’s Champion joined forces. Never again will it happen.

It’s an unexpected alliance that came about on the Oct. 24 edition of WWE’s Raw SuperShow when Interim Raw General Manager John Laurinaitis informed Cena that he would challenge The “Awesome Truth” at Survivor Series with a partner of his choosing. Realizing the Superstar in his corner would have to be able to “bring it” in order to take down the vicious duo, Cena chose a competitor he may not like, but he damn sure respects — The Rock. John Cena and The Rock will be teamed up for Survivor Series. 411Mania has revealed an image of a poster for Survivor Series stating that the two will be a team with the slogan Never Before. Never Again. Survivor Series Pay Per View will get a huge boost because of John Cena and The Rock’s T.V. appearances will give a much needed boost to the Raw ratings. The question is that who will fight with them.
